What's Involved

Emergency Electrician

Some electrical problems can wait for a scheduled visit. Some can't. A burning smell, smoke or sparking from an outlet or panel, a hot panel, exposed or damaged service wires after a storm, or losing power to part of the building with the utility reporting no outage — those are the calls we take any time, day or night.

When you call, we'll help you figure out over the phone whether it's safe to wait or whether you should kill power to something in the meantime, and we'll get out to you. Master electrician, licensed and insured, and straight with you about what it'll take to make it safe.

Questions

Emergency Electrician FAQ

What counts as an electrical emergency?

A burning smell, smoke, or sparking; a hot or buzzing panel; exposed or damaged service wires; losing power to part of the building when the utility isn't reporting an outage; or water around electrical equipment. If it feels unsafe, treat it as one and call.

Are you really available 24/7?

Yes — we answer emergency calls around the clock. For non-urgent work we'll schedule you during normal hours.

What should I do while I wait?

If there's smoke or fire, get out and call the fire department first. Otherwise, if it's safe to reach your panel, you can shut off the affected circuit or the main. We'll walk you through it on the phone.
